How our real estate reviews can help you and why we love doing them.
Today we want to discuss what a real estate review is and why they are important. But first, you might need a little bit of background to understand why we send them out.
I’ve been selling real estate for 20 years now, and I’ve learned that there is always a way to make money, no matter what the market is doing. However, being an agent is hard. I love it, but it can be emotionally taxing.
“We want to be someone you can trust and call when you have questions.”
Agents always say that we’re prospecting for business, but I’ve never liked that term. It feels inauthentic, and it’s a grind that didn’t connect with me. I came across a book several years ago, “Ninja Selling: Subtle Skills. Big Results.” by Lary Kendall, and it helped me get back to what I liked about real estate in the first place: connecting with people. That is a big part of who Shannon and I are, so finding a way to interject it into our business made all the difference.
That brings us back to real estate reviews, which are quite simple. You get a bank statement every month, go to the dentist every six months (hopefully), visit the doctor’s for a checkup, and touch base with your financial advisor. Your home is one of if not the most valuable asset you have, so it makes sense to know where that asset stands.
That’s all a real estate review is. We’ll call or email you to give you an idea of what your home is worth and what’s going on in your neighborhood. The other part of it is that it’s a chance for us to connect with you. We don’t just want to send you information; we want to hear what’s been happening in your life.
Maybe you’ve extended your family, or maybe someone is running off to college. If something in real estate happens to be in your future, we’d be honored to help. We do this because we love connecting with people. Regardless of how it works out for us, we care about how we can help better your life.
You’ll get calls from Regan most of the time. She’ll let you know that it’s time for a real estate review. We’ll get the information together in a printed packet, and you’ll receive an invite to get together with us, whether that’s to have a drink, grab lunch, or visit at your house.
We’d love an opportunity to get together with you, talk about what’s been happening in your life, and share what’s going on in our world. These reviews are always free, and we’ll never pressure you to sell. It’s about being someone you can trust and call when you have questions.
If you have any questions about these reviews or would like to get together and talk, just call or email us. We would love to hear from you.
